IVE Releases New Music as Asian Tour Dates Announced
The South Korean girl group IVE has unveiled fresh promotional content and scheduled performances across Singapore, Macao, and Japan this spring.
IVE, the six-member girl group under Starship Entertainment, is ramping up activity with a slate of new releases and international tour dates scheduled for the coming months.
The group recently dropped music videos for “Bang Bang” and “Blackhole,” with the latter accompanying a new EP titled “Revive+.” Promotional content for the project is currently available across the group’s official channels, signaling a sustained push into the competitive K-pop market.
Touring plans are ambitious. IVE will perform in Singapore on May 9, followed by a regional festival appearance on May 16 as part of the ASEA lineup. A two-night concert run in Macao is scheduled for May 23-24. On the Japanese front, the group will release their fourth EP, “Lucid Dream,” on May 27, with further MC appearances and promotional activities expected.
The schedule reflects IVE’s expanded geographic footprint. The group maintains active social media presence across multiple platforms including X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Weibo, and Bilibili, with dedicated accounts for both global and Japanese operations. Individual members also operate personal accounts, a common practice among K-pop idols to cultivate fanbase loyalty.
IVE debuted in 2021 and has built a reputation for high-energy performances and visually striking music videos. The group’s output over the past two years has positioned them among mid-tier groups in the crowded idol marketplace, neither commanding the stratospheric reach of first-generation powerhouses nor languishing in obscurity.
The spring touring schedule places IVE in direct competition with dozens of other groups vying for international attention. Success in the Asian concert circuit has become increasingly important for K-pop acts seeking to diversify revenue streams and build fanbases outside South Korea, where domestic market saturation remains intense.
Starship Entertainment, the group’s label, has built a roster around consistent content calendars and regional targeting. Whether IVE’s current push translates into sustained commercial momentum or fades into the background churn of K-pop releases remains to be seen.
